Bienvenidos! Bienvenue! Benvenuto! Welcome!

Quick introduction: our names are Vivaz, Enjouée, and Jeavoi. We are very excited to be starting our blog.

A little background: the blog was born out of a triangle friendship (hence the three admins). We met at an all girls’ faith camp five years ago and have been extremely close friends ever since. Although we don’t all live in the same city, we keep close contact and have made a promise to visit one another whenever possible. In a world full of technology, email, Skype, and texting have helped keep us close in the interim of face-to-face visits. Obviously, this blog serves to do the same, but that’s not exactly how it came about.

Enjouée had the idea to start the blog. Unfortunately, she can’t really remember what exactly gave her idea, but it doesn’t really matter because here it is! After learning how to create a blog from Enjouée’s French teacher and at least five Skype conversations where we forgot to talk about the blog (followed by a three-hour Skype session to start it up), it is up and running as you see it today.

We hope you’ll take a look around to see all that EurOK has to offer. Our blog includes many different entries including culture-based posts, snippets of stories we’ve written, advice on different life situations, and recommendations for things such as songs and music videos. If you enjoy learning about cultures of European countries, then this blog is the place for you! (It’s a place for you if you’re a high school student looking for advice from people who are currently living the same high school life, this is the place for you, too, but that doesn’t sound as appealing as Europe does). We would love to hear feedback on our posts and what you want to read about from us next.
